University measures towards affordable and clean energy

FIA UI implements an organizational policy that promotes energy efficiency by prioritizing the use of energy-saving technologies and incorporating energy efficiency standards into its procurement and facilities management processes. This policy is reflected in the use of inverter air conditioners, LED lighting, sensor-activated lights, solar panels, and LED Interactive Flat Panel (IFP) displays to replace conventional projectors in classrooms. Through these initiatives, FIA UI demonstrates its commitment to reducing energy consumption and ensuring that future procurement decisions and facility improvements align with its energy efficiency objectives.

Energy-efficient equipment

FIA UI has implemented sensor-based systems for water faucets and lighting to improve resource efficiency. These systems automatically stop the water flow or switch off the lights when no movement is detected, helping to reduce unnecessary water and energy consumption. In addition, FIA UI uses energy-efficient LED lighting to further support its sustainability efforts.

Energy Saving Facilities

FIA UI integrates energy efficiency considerations into all procurement and maintenance planning to minimize energy consumption across its facilities. These efforts include replacing conventional lamps with energy-efficient LED lighting, upgrading air conditioning units to inverter models, and prioritizing the use of other energy-saving equipment throughout the faculty environment.
