Low-carbon energy use
FIA UI utilizes information systems and technology to track the total carbon footprint of the faculty, using a carbon footprint calculator (www.carbonfootprint.com) that converts electricity consumption (kWh) into metric tons of CO2 equivalent. Based on this measurement, the carbon footprint of FIA UI is 218.8 tons of CO2e.
FIA UI has implemented the use of low-carbon energy such as electric motors and hybrid cars. All of these vehicles are environmentally friendly vehicles.
