Supporting land ecosystems through education
FIA UI includes elements of sustainable use of land, one of which is through the handover of trees from staff, students, and lecturers for the sustainable use of land program at FIA UI. This event uses the tagline “Hijaukan FIA” (Make FIA Green) and is carried out by planting 88 fruit trees in the new FIA building environment.
In addition, on 13 September 2025 BEM FIA UI held the FIA Green Festival 2025 on Pari Island, Thousand Islands, where the organizing committee and student volunteers, guided by local community members, planted 1,500 mangrove seedlings along Pasir Perawan Beach to support ecosystem conservation.
FIA UI has contributed to maintaining and expanding the biodiversity of the current ecosystem. The things that are done are by feeding cats, raising fish, and planting and caring for plants for environmental sustainability
