FIA UI runs three programmes to assist students who fall into the bottom 20% of household income group to successfully complete their studies:

  1. Biaya Operasional Pendidikan Berkeadilan (BOPB). This programme is accessible to all new students from low-income economic backgrounds, so that tuition fees can be adjusted to each student’s ability to pay. A tuition instalment scheme also allows students facing financial difficulties to pay their fees in three stages each semester (50% for the first instalment, 30% for the second and 20% for the third), so that financial challenges do not disrupt their studies.
  2. Government scholarships such as Bidikmisi, KIP Kuliah and Kartu Jakarta Mahasiswa Unggul (KJMU), which can be accessed by all undergraduate students enrolled in regular programmes.
  3. Scholarships from partner institutions that collaborate with the Faculty of Administrative Science, such as MUC, DDTC and PT Pratama, usually given to students with outstanding academic and non-academic achievements.
