The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI), held a Halal Bihalal event on Tuesday morning, April 23, 2024, at the Auditorium, 4th floor of Building M, FIA UI, Depok. This event aimed to foster friendship and closeness among all elements of FIA UI, including leadership, professors, lecturers, educational staff, student parents, alumni, and students.

In his opening speech, Dean of FIA UI, Prof. Dr. Chandra Wijaya, M.Si., MM., emphasized that the event was a way for the FIA UI community to embrace a fresh start filled with positive values.

“Halal Bihalal is a meaningful tradition that we are continuing here at FIA UI to strengthen our bonds and maintain harmony within the FIA UI community. Let us collaborate and synergize to bring FIA UI to greater heights,” said Prof. Chandra.

He also highlighted the KITA values of FIA UI—Commitment, Integrity, Transformative, and Trustworthy—stressing that the transformative aspect can only be achieved through collaboration among all elements of FIA UI.

The event, which was attended by more than 250 members of the FIA UI academic community, featured a religious sermon delivered by Ust. H. Dadang Holiyulloh, S.H.I., a mentor at the Syifa lil Mu’min Quran House.

In his sermon, Ust. H. Dadang Holiyulloh emphasized four things to avoid to maintain strong relationships: avoiding arguments, controlling emotions, avoiding debt, and steering clear of suspicion or negative assumptions about others.

“We must always be grateful for what we have and refrain from comparing ourselves to others or their achievements. Moreover, we should remain humble regardless of our possessions,” he remarked.
