Local Collaboration
In 2023, Faculty of Administrative Sciences has collaborated with one of the Counseling Institutions (TEDUH) for improving student welfare and health. TEDUH is an institution that provides educational services and handles mental health problems such as webinars, peer counselors, and counseling with psychologists or experts.
 
FIA routinely holds outreach programs and projects in the local community to improve or promote health and well-being. One of the activities carried out in 2023 is the SADANA (Satu Data Nagrak) application development program to monitor and make decisions related to stunting control in Nagrak, Sukabumi.
 
Free Access to All Facilities

FIA UI provides free sports facilities in the form of fields that can be used for physical activities such as gymnastics, physical fitness and other physical activities such as for competitions in commemoration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia. The field owned by FIA UI is indeed not able to accommodate a large number of people, but the FIA UI field has good conditions that are able to support physical activitiesIn addition, FIA UI also provides table tennis facilities equipped with table tennis bets and tennis balls. many students and employees of FIA UI who play table tennis every day in the afternoon.

Provide students with access to mental health support.

Active promotion of good mental health

In providing education and increasing awareness for students and the academic community, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences also actively promotes issues related to mental health. One of them is by carrying out socialization and counseling activities that discuss mental health issues that relate to the lives of students and other academic communities. In 2023, RAYAKESTAL activities have been organized by the FIA UI Student Affairs Unit in collaboration with ADKESMA BEM FIA UI. This activity includes a campaign on mental health issues for students and meditation class. This event also invited Shabrina Audinia, a psychologist from TEDUH as the main facilitator in the meditation class. In addition to these activities, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences also conducted a 101 counseling program with psychologists that helped four students who have indications of severe mental health disorders.

Access to (or signposting to) free mental health support

The Faculty of Administrative Sciences in collaboration with ADKESMA BEM FIA UI, and BKM UI or UI Counseling Services Makara Clinic always provides access to services and support related to mental health for students. This service is provided free of charge so that students who need help can directly counsel with psychologists at BKM UI. In addition, the Faculty Student Affairs Unit will also be assisted by ADKESMA BEM FIA UI both in student data collection to the mentoring process before being handed over to BKM UI and experts. That is why the faculty in collaboration with ADKESMA BEM FIA UI is also actively carrying out coaching or training activities to form cadres or peer counselors at the student level.

Access to (or signposting to) charged mental health support
In addition to the free services provided by the University of Indonesia, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences has also provided access to paid mental health support services for underprivileged students who need help. In 2023, the FIA UI Student Affairs Unit has provided a special budget that will be used as student counseling funds for paid psychologists. This assistance is usually given if the student’s condition is very urgent and requires expert consultation in a short time because it is not possible to wait for a counseling schedule from BKM UI

The Faculty of Administrative Science has implemented a smoke-free policy in the faculty environment referring to the Chancellor’s Decree No. 1805/SK/R/UI/2011 concerning smoke-free areas at the University of Indonesia

FIA UI provides access to mental health support for staff with free counseling through the UI Satellite Clinic Counseling Service. In addition to being free, this service can also be booked online through Klinik Makara Satelit UI.
