Operational measures

FIA UI has a policy regarding the management of waste, e-waste, and waste containing hazardous and toxic materials (B3) in the Faculty environment, and has implemented a practice process for sorting waste from hazardous and toxic materials (B3).

Waste, E-waste and Hazardous Waste Management Policy

FIA UI has a policy on reducing the use of paper and plastic in the FIA UI environment which is attached to the Decree of the Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences Number: SK-25/UN2.F16.D/HKP.02.04/2022 concerning policies to reduce the use of paper and plastic waste in the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, University of Indonesia

Policy for Minimisation of Plastic Use

To reduce the use of disposable items, FIA UI has provided tumblers and stainless steel tableware and prepared water dispensers so that plastic packaging bottles are less used.

Total organic waste processed by the Faculty of Administrative Sciences is 3,723 Tons Per Year
Total anorganic waste processed by the Faculty of Administrative Sciences 1,164 Tons Per Year
Total toxic waste processed by the Faculty of Administrative Sciences is 0.072 Tons Per Year
For recycled waste 4,023 Tons Per Year
Consists of The recycled waste, namely from organic waste, is all recycled by the faculty of administrative sciences to be made into compost with a total of 3,723 tons per year.

Publication of a sustainability report
FIA UI has published an sustainability report related to the SDGs which can be accessed at the https://fia.ui.ac.id/sdgs-initiatives-at-fia-ui/. This proves that the Faculty of Administrative Sciences Indonesia is committed to making various efforts in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). On the website, data related to each SDGs is presented that can be accessed in general.
