University anti-poverty programmes
Targets to admit students who fall into the bottom 20% of household income group (or a more tightly defined target) in the country
Graduation/completion targets for students who fall into the bottom 20% of household income group (or a more tightly defined target) in the country
In 2023, there are a total of 201 students in the Faculty of Administration Science from Class of 2021 until Class of 2023 who received Bidikmisi and KIPK.
The Faculty of Administrative Sciences always provided student support program for all of student comes from low income background such as :
1. Biaya Operasional Pendidikan Berkeadilan (BOPB), This program is accessible to all new students who have low income economic background so the tuition fees can be adjusted to the student’s ability.
3. Student Scholarships under the Indonesian Government such as Bidikmisi, KIPK-Kuliah and Kartu Jakarta Mahasiswa Unggul KJMU. This program can be accessed for all undergraduate students enrolled in regular programs.
4. Student Scholarships from other institutions that have collaborated with Faculty of Administrative Sciences such as MUC, DDTC, and PT Pratama. This scholarship program usually given to the students who have a great achievements in both academic and non-academic fields.
UI GREAT scholarship is offered to non-Indonesian citizens applying for a master’s degree at Faculty of Administrative Science Universitas Indonesia. The student will get some scholarship benefit such as tuition fee waiver, ticket allowance, health insurance allowance, books and research allowance and monthly allowance.
Community anti-poverty programmes
Faculty of Administrative Science support local start-ups by providing support to local communities with financially and socially sustainable businesses through relevant education and resources (such as mentoring programs, training, acces to university facilities). Some examples of local start-up assistance are:
The Faculty of Administrative Science directly participate in the process of policy making at regional level to implement programmes and poilicies to end poverty in all its dimensions. Some of those examples are the participation of Dr. Achmad Fauzi and Dr. Muh Azis Muslim at Focus Group Discussion (FGD) of “Mapping and Handling Poverty in Sorong Regency in 2023” organized by the Regional Secretariat of the Sorong Regency Government.
