Work Ethics and Professionalism
Jakarta, (FIA UI) – The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, University of Indonesia (FIA UI) in collaboration with the FIA UI Alumni Association has held the third Internship Class Talkshow Serial webinar (8/8/2020).
The webinar which was held for two hours (from 09.00 to 11.00 WIB) raised the theme Work Ethics and Professionalism by presenting speakers who were also alumni of FIA UI Ganefi (Director of Human Resources and General Affairs of PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia) and Sandra Sahupala (Former HR Director, Consultant HR Mgt, and Career & Leadership Coach).
Using the Zoom Meeting platform, the Webinar was attended by at least 210 active students of the 2016 and 2017 FIA UI undergraduate programs.
This webinar was held in order to provide internship ethics to all undergraduate students of FIA UI before carrying out an apprenticeship program which is a compulsory faculty subject in August 2020. The internship program itself is an applicative subject.
Students learn by practicing working in government, private, and other agencies according to the study program and specialization taken. To be able to pass this course, students must meet several requirements including: carrying out the program for a minimum of 21 working days; write and submit weekly reports; write and submit an internship final report; filling in the attendance list during the internship; submit the value of the apprenticeship from the institution where he works; and pass the final internship report hearing.
