DEPOK. The crowd roared to enjoy the appearance of new students acting on the stage. Not only applause, admiration was seen from their faces staring at the stage action which was packed perfectly with an interesting stage. The lights also add to the increasingly magical atmosphere of the stage.

This is the Teater Mafia which is the annual event of Department of Cultural Arts Student Executive Council (BEM) FIA UI, a theater that originates from the Faculty of Administrative Science Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI). All actors come from new students who are trained by their senior level. Although new students and most of the first time performing theater, do not be underestimated. Just look at the students from the departments at FIA UI, namely Public Administration, Business Administration, and Fiscal Administration, successfully concocting a story that made the audience amazed.

Naturally, Natashah Amellie, the chief executive of this event took pride. According to the Fiscal Administration student, the theater mafia brought together various forces at the FIA. “Through this competition between departments and forces closer, they begin to collaborate and transfer mutual insights in theater and other matters,” he said on Wednesday (11/14).

This year the Mafia Theater was held on November 10th 2018 with the theme Believe in Yourself. The aim is to raise the pride of students in themselves, their departments and faculties. Previously, the Mafia Theater was held since 2016 when the FIA ​​was still greeting the process of standing up.
