The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI), held the 2023 Faculty Academic System Introduction Event (PSAF) for its graduate program on Saturday morning, August 26, 2023, at the EDISI 2020 Auditorium, FIA UI Campus, Depok. The event aimed to welcome and provide orientation for new graduate students regarding the academic system at FIA UI.
Dr. Fibria Indriati Dwi Liestiawati, S.Sos., M.Si., Vice Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs, who also serves as the Chair of the FIA UI Graduate Program, welcomed the new graduate students at the event. In her speech and report, Dr. Fibria stated that for the 2023/2024 academic year, the graduate program has enrolled 193 active students, consisting of 153 students in the Master of Administrative Sciences program, 16 students in the Master of Public Policy and Governance program, and 24 students in the Doctoral Program in Administrative Sciences.
“We hope that all new students present today will successfully complete their studies and achieve outstanding accomplishments. Wishing you all success and continued enthusiasm,” said Dr. Fibria.
Additionally, FIA UI Secretary Dr. Umanto, M.Si., expressed hope that this event would help students carry out their academic activities more effectively throughout their time in the graduate program. “We hope that all students will graduate on time and achieve excellence, both academically and in non-academic fields,” he stated.
Dr. Umanto also shared key information about FIA UI, including its historical background, the faculty’s official flag colors, organizational structure, academic characteristics, graduate profiles, research clusters, international program development, faculty resources, student demographics, available facilities, partnerships, and student achievements.
Dr. phil. Reza Fathurahman, MPP, Secretary of the Graduate Program, emphasized the importance of students adhering to all academic regulations at FIA UI to ensure a smooth learning experience.
In her presentation, Dr. Fibria highlighted that to graduate on time and excel academically and non-academically, students must comply with the academic rules set by the Faculty of Administrative Sciences throughout their studies, whether in the master’s or doctoral programs.
