Department of Science and Education of the Student Executive Board (BEM FIA UI) 2020 held an online seminar about Career Vol. I with “Strategies for Finding Work during a Pandemic” as its theme.

This seminar was held on Saturday (09/05) with the aim of providing understanding and knowledge about how the right and effective strategies in finding work during the pandemic.

In addition, this activity also aims to share the speaker’s experience who is a Human Resource (HR) practitioner with more than seven years of experience, so  by carrying out this activity participants would get a comprehensive picture from the point of view of an HR as a recruiter itself.

“Finding work during a pandemic is quite difficult. However, with careful preparation, shrewdness in looking for opportunities and persistence, the possibility of getting a job will still exist, ” said Belinda Rahmadara S.Psi as a resource person who had worked at Bukalapak as a Technical Recruiter and Ass. The online seminar which took place within one hour and thirty minutes was opened and guided by Riezky Purnama E. P as the Head of the Science and Education Department of BEM FIA UI 2021 as well as the moderator. Then, continued with the presentation of material in accordance with the theme presented by Belinda Rahmadara S.Psi. and concluded with an interactive question and answer session with the online seminar participants.

“Finally, I hope that this online seminar will be able to broaden our knowledge together, as well as help the participants who are looking for work during the pandemic,” said Riezky Purnama E.P in closing the online seminar on Career Vol. I.

It is known, online seminars on Career Vol. I, which was opened to the public, was attended by FIA UI Students, University Students outside UI, and the general public.
