The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, University of Indonesia (FIA UI) held an Introduction to the Faculty Academic System (PSAF) for the CIL-BETTER program (Center for Independent Learning and FIA UI Integrated Learning Program) and the FIA UI Pre-University Program on Saturday, 17 September 2022.

The welcome to participants in the CIL BETTER and Pre-U programs were represented directly by the Dean of FIA UI, Prof. Dr. Chandra Wijaya. M.Si, M.M., by saying that FIA UI welcomes all participants’ participation in these two excellent FIA UI programs.

“On this auspicious occasion, I represent the academic community and welcome you and all of you to become the big family of FIA UI. I hope you are serious about participating in this integrated learning program,” said Prof. Chandra.

Prof. Chandra said that if the participants of the CIL BETTER Program follow this program well, then this knowledge will benefit the local government and the people it serves.

“To my friends participating in the Pre-University Program, if you take this program seriously, you will get good grades. If the scores are good, you will get the opportunity to be considered for entering FIA UI through the SIMAK UI route,” said Prof. Chandra.

In the PSAF activity, Dr. Fibria Indriati Dwi Liestiawati, S.Sos., M.Sc. as Deputy Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences (FIA) with Dr. Achmad Lutfi, M.Sc as FIA Education and Student Affairs Manager explained the curriculum for the CIL BETTER and Pre-University FIA UI programs.

Not only the lecture curriculum but the technical lectures were also then explained by Marcel Angwyn, the coordinator of PPAA and the FIA UI International Office. The PSAF event was also driven and managed by the FIA UI Student Affairs unit, with Wahyu Mahendra, M.Egov as the coordinator.

F. Astha Ekadiyanto, S.T., M.Sc. as the Head of the Center of Independent Learning (CIL) at the University of Indonesia, also explained the Pre-U Program in detail.

“What is Pre-University? Pre-University is an academic activity where SMA/SMK students can take part in lecture activities on campus online through CIL-UI and collect their micro-credentials. The success of micro-credentials can be a consideration in selecting admission as a UI student according to the credit-earning scheme set by the study program,” Astha explained.
