Provide access to educational resources for those not studying at the university – e.g. computers, library, online courses, and access to lectures
The Faculty of Administrative Sciences provides facilities that can be utilized by the academic community of FIA UI. These free facilities are either readily available or require a prior request for use. Facilities and equipment in classrooms and office spaces are examples of those that are readily available. For activities initiated by students, however, a formal request for the use of facilities must be submitted following established procedures. Typically, such requests are made through the student organization secretary, who will then submit the request to the student services portal. Once the request is approved, students can forward it to the Infrastructure Subdivision to proceed with the borrowing process.
FIA UI provide free access to online resources through several sources
FIA UI hosts several educational events at the university that are open to the general public. These include Nvivo qualitative data analysis training, SPSS analysis training, and a research methods workshop.
Events
As part of its commitment to community engagement and education, BEM FIA UI organizes an outreach program called “Rumah Belajar FIA (RUMBAIA)”. This initiative serves as a platform for FIA UI students to contribute to society through teaching and mentoring activities for children at the kindergarten and elementary school levels in underprivileged areas. By bringing education beyond the campus, RUMBAIA aims to inspire a love for learning among young students while fostering empathy, social awareness, and leadership among participating university students.
Through interactive lessons and creative learning methods, FIA UI volunteers not only help improve basic literacy and numeracy skills but also nurture the confidence and curiosity of the children they teach. The program reflects the faculty’s belief in the transformative power of education and the importance of giving back to the community. By bridging the gap between academic knowledge and social responsibility, RUMBAIA continues to strengthen FIA UI’s role as an institution that empowers both its students and the wider community to grow and learn together.

A policy that ensures that access to these activities is accessible to all, regardless of ethnicity, religion, disability immigration status or gender.
All activities carried out by both the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, University of Indonesia and student organizations always prioritize the principle of collaboration and never support any form of discrimination. In addition, through Rector Regulation Number 1 of 2024 concerning the Implementation of Undergraduate Programs at the University of Indonesia, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences has divided the education levels of undergraduate programs into regular classes, parallel classes, and international classes. This class division allows cross-subsidies for the determination of student education costs. So that students from underprivileged groups can get lower costing and the sustainability of student education can be more maintained.
