Operational measures

FIA UI has a policy to process B3 waste in the form of a dean’s decree no. 26 of 2022. For B3 waste treatment, FIA UI cleaning services separate waste from each floor of building M and building G. after that B3 waste is taken to a temporary disposal unit and will be taken by one of the company which is delegated by University of Indonesia.

Waste, E-waste and Hazardous Waste Management Policy

FIA UI has committed to reducing plastic waste by making a dean’s decree number 25 of 2022. The FIA UI cleaning service will collect plastic waste from each floor of the FIA UI building. Then, plastic waste will be taken to UPS and recycled.

Policy for Minimisation of Plastic Use

To reduce the use of disposable items, FIA UI has provided tumblers and stainless steel tableware and prepared water dispensers so that plastic packaging bottles are less used.

Total organic waste processed by the Faculty of Administrative Sciences is 3,723 Tons Per Year
Total anorganic waste processed by the Faculty of Administrative Sciences 1,164 Tons Per Year
Total toxic waste processed by the Faculty of Administrative Sciences is 0.072 Tons Per Year
For recycled waste 4,023 Tons Per Year
Consists of The recycled waste, namely from organic waste, is all recycled by the faculty of administrative sciences to be made into compost with a total of 3,723 tons per year.

Publication of a sustainability report
FIA UI has published an sustainability report related to the SDGs which can be accessed at the https://fia.ui.ac.id/sdgs-initiatives-at-fia-ui/. This proves that the Faculty of Administrative Sciences Indonesia is committed to making various efforts in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). On the website, data related to each SDGs is presented that can be accessed in general.
