FIA routinely holds outreach programs and projects in the local community to improve or promote health and well-being. One of the activities carried out in 2023 is the SADANA (Satu Data Nagrak) application development program to monitor and make decisions related to stunting control in Nagrak, Sukabumi.
 
Free Access to All Facilities

FIA UI provides free sports facilities in the form of fields that can be used for physical activities such as gymnastics, physical fitness and other physical activities such as for competitions in commemoration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia. The field owned by FIA UI is indeed not able to accommodate a large number of people, but the FIA UI field has good conditions that are able to support physical activities.

In addition, FIA UI also provides table tennis facilities equipped with table tennis bets and tennis balls. many students and employees of FIA UI who play table tennis every day in the afternoon.

Active promotion of good mental health

As part of its active promotion of good mental health, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI) X Adkesma BEM FIA UI held Mental Health Day Celebration (Rayakestal). The event served as a collaborative space where students, educators, and mental health practitioners came together to openly discuss the significance of mental well-being in academic life. By addressing common challenges faced by students and sharing personal experiences, the talkshow encouraged honest conversations about stress, balance, and emotional awareness within the university environment.

Through inspiring talks and engaging discussions, participants gained valuable insights and practical tools to strengthen resilience, cultivate supportive peer networks, and prioritize self-care. The session also highlighted the importance of empathy and community as key pillars in sustaining a mentally healthy campus. By fostering understanding and shared responsibility, FIA UI continues to demonstrate its commitment to creating a compassionate, inclusive, and mindful learning environment—one that empowers every member of its community to thrive both academically and emotionally.

Access to (or signposting to) free mental health support

Universitas Indonesia and FIA UI actively supports student well-being through its free mental health counseling services, provided by the university’s Student Counseling Body at Klinik Satelit Makara UI. This service offers a safe and confidential space for students to discuss personal challenges, academic stress, or emotional difficulties with trained counselors and mental health professionals. By making mental health support easily accessible and free of charge, the program ensures that every student can seek help without financial barriers or stigma, reinforcing the university’s commitment to holistic student welfare.
Beyond one-on-one counseling sessions, the service also provides guidance on stress management, coping strategies, and emotional resilience to help students navigate the pressures of academic life. The initiative reflects FIA UI’s dedication to fostering a supportive and caring campus environment one where students are encouraged to prioritize their mental health, build self-awareness, and grow into emotionally balanced individuals ready to contribute positively to their communities.

Access to (or signposting to) charged mental health support
FIA UI provides access to “Konseling 101,” a subsidized mental health counseling program designed to make professional psychological support more accessible for students. This initiative is a collaboration between the Faculty’s Student Affairs Division and Mudita, a mental health service provider, and it represents FIA UI’s ongoing commitment to promoting student well-being. Through this program, students can receive counseling sessions with licensed psychologists, with the costs fully covered by the faculty. By removing financial barriers to mental health care, “Konseling 101” ensures that all students regardless of background can access the professional help they need in a safe and supportive environment.
Conducted annually, “Konseling 101” has become a cornerstone of FIA UI’s mental health support initiatives. The program not only offers individualized counseling sessions but also encourages students to recognize the importance of mental well-being as part of their academic and personal growth. Through consistent collaboration and annual implementation, FIA UI continues to build a culture that values emotional resilience, self-awareness, and proactive care, empowering its students to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
Have a ‘smoke-free’ policy

FIA UI adopted the Rector’s Decree number 1085 of 2015 regarding non-smoking areas. This policy was immediately signed by the rector of the University of Indonesia. It was explained that the University of Indonesia has established a smoke-free area so that smoking in the University of Indonesia environment is not allowed.

FIA UI provides access to mental health support for staff with free counseling through the UI Satellite Clinic Counseling Service. In addition to being free, this service can also be booked online through Klinik Makara Satelit UI.
