1) The FIA Green Festival 2024, organized by BEM FIA UI, was a vibrant environmental initiative that focused on promoting sustainability and ecological awareness through hands-on action. One of the festival’s main highlights was the mangrove planting activity, where students actively participated in restoring coastal ecosystems and combating environmental degradation. By combining education, community engagement, and direct environmental action, the event aimed to inspire a sense of responsibility among students toward preserving nature. The FIA Green Festival 2024 not only strengthened environmental consciousness within the campus but also showcased FIA UI’s commitment to creating a generation that values sustainability and takes tangible steps to protect the planet.
2) FIA untuk Desa (FUNDES) is a community service program initiated by BEM FIA UI that focuses on promoting healthy and sustainable living practices within local communities. Through this program, FIA UI students engage directly with residents to share practical knowledge on important topics such as proper handwashing with clean running water and soap, safe management of household drinking water and food, as well as effective waste processing by applying the principles of reduce, reuse, and recycle. Additionally, the program emphasizes the importance of managing household liquid waste to prevent environmental pollution. By combining education and community empowerment, FUNDES reflects FIA UI’s commitment to fostering social responsibility and supporting community well-being through simple yet impactful everyday practices.

Achieving gender equality and empowering women and girls are the two main goals of SDG 5. In 2023, the Faculty of Administrative will not carry any research on SDG5 or publish any findings.
SDG 6 is one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the UN, which focuses on “Clean Water and Sanitation”. The goal is to ensure the availability and sustainable management of clean water and sanitation for all. Here is a list of publications included in SDGs 6.

Education for SDGs commitment to meaningful education and specific courses on sustainability
The Faculty of Administrative Sciences Universitas Indonesia is committed to supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals through meaningful education. To maintain this commitment, FIA UI always tries to instill SDGs values in both compulsory and elective courses.
The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, University of Indonesia (FIA UI) provides outreach educational activities for the wider community, including local residents, especially those from rural areas (Teluk Pang-pang, Banyuwangi). These activities involve outreach activities aimed at strengthening knowledge capacity regarding sustainable development. Participants also gain hands-on experience in identifying village issues related to sustainable development and developing program solutions aligned with village planning.
