DEPOK. The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI) has again followed up with the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) in the fields of academics, research, and student exchanges with the Sungkyunkwan University Public Administration Department (SKKU). This was conveyed by the head of FIA UI to Prof. Hyung Jun Park, Professor, SKKU Public Administration Department who visited FIA UI.

Dean of FIA UI Prof. Dr. Eko Prasojo conveyed the possibility of several collaborations expected to begin this year. “One of them we are exploring the existence of tailor-made short courses at SKKU for the leadership of FIA UI, we hope we can leave in October this year,” Prof. Eko said on Thursday (8/16).

In addition, Prof. Eko also followed up on other agreements with SKKU. First, a teacher exchange program with expertise and fields of study that become SKKU’s strengths. Second, the continuation of the e-learning program with SKKU. Third, the possibility of research collaboration, currently SKKU has several research institutions, one of which is the Institute of Governance and Policy Evaluation (IoGPE) led by Prof. Park. Fourth, explore the possibility of cooperation in the form of a joint degree as they do with Doshisha University or FIA UI with Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.

Just for info, currently SKKU is ranked 108th in the world and 18th in Asia. As for the Social Policy and Administration sector, ranked 51 in the world for the field of Social Policy and Administration. These two ratings refer to the World University Rangkings QS 2017. (MI)
