The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI), celebrated Indonesia’s 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm through various competitions in the Dean’s Cup. The event featured table tennis, badminton, and futsal tournaments, involving the entire FIA UI academic community, including students, faculty members, and administrative staff.

The series of events began on August 10, 2023, and culminated in the grand finale on August 25, 2023. The peak event featured a tumpeng (traditional cone-shaped rice dish) decorating competition, the announcement of the Dean’s Cup winners, and a speech by the Dean of FIA UI, Prof. Dr. Chandra Wijaya, M.Si., M.M.

Prof. Chandra emphasized that this event served as a platform for strengthening camaraderie within the academic community, fostering closer relationships that contribute to the faculty’s overall performance. He expressed hope that in the coming years, FIA UI will introduce more innovations to enhance its services.

“During this Dean’s Cup period, we have achieved several remarkable accomplishments, including Dr. Eko Sakapurnama, S.Psi, MBA, being recognized as UI’s Best Lecturer in the Social Humanities category. Additionally, FIA UI secured 1st place in the Innovation for HR category (One Data), 2nd place in the Archival category, and 3rd place in the General Affairs Innovation category,” said Prof. Chandra.
