In order to support the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, University of Indonesia (FIA UI) opened a collaboration with the Faculty of Economics and Business at Pertamina University (FEB UPER) by creating the Flash Track program, where later students will undergo a Bachelor program at UPER and a Masters program at FIA UI for approximately 5 years.
This collaboration was marked by the signing of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between FIA UI and FEB UPER which was held in Building M, Floor 3, Campus FIA UI Depok, Wednesday 24 August 2022.
In his remarks, the Dean of FIA UI Prof. Dr. Chandra Wijaya, M.Sc., MM., said that collaboration and synergy are needed in today’s fast-paced era, including in the university environment.
“We teach in class about innovation, openness to collaboration, why don’t we ourselves do what we teach. Precisely this is one example that innovation and collaboration are urgently needed today,” explained Prof. Chandra.
The Deputy Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs at Pertamina University, Budi W. Soetjipto, Ph.D. also said that it was an honor for Pertamina University to be able to collaborate with the University of Indonesia.
“With the opening of this collaboration, we hope to be able to provide even more quality education for students who wish to enroll in this program,” he said.
Pertamina University Deputy Chancellor for Research, Development and Cooperation Prof. Dr. Ir. Wawan Gunawan A. Kadir, MS also said that this collaboration could also be an initial pilot for collaboration in other faculties or even other universities.
