POOR. The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI) won the 3rd place in the TAX Planning Competition quiz competition in Brawijaya University (UB) Malang on September 26-29 2018. The team formed by the Fiscal Administrative Sciences Department (DIAF) consists of 3 female students, Nadhirotul Ulfa Septiana, Naura Putri Alifah, and Nimas Setia Ningsih. They managed to defeat 22 teams from other universities.

No wonder, before this team had participated in a quiz competition. This time, preparations were made from April 2018. “Every day on Saturday we are trained by guest lecturers financed by FIA UI,” Nadhirotul Ulfa Septiana said, practicing guided by guest lecturer Herwikson Sitorus. Their training focuses on the taxation system in Indonesia. Nadhirotul admitted that there were not many significant obstacles because all they had learned was also related to what was taught during college.

In selection, initially there were 3 teams trained by the faculty. However, only 2 teams sent to UB, namely Team 1 and Team 3. This team entered the top ten champions. While Team 1 won 3rd place.

Not only for coahing, the faculty also finances lodging trips and fees. In the future they will compete again at the Budi Mulia University and Trisakti University Contest planned to take place today.

As information, the 1st place winner was STAN students. Meanwhile the 2nd winner is a student majoring in Taxation, Vocational UI. (AY)
