Three Keys for a Clean, Democratic and Effective Indonesian Government

This was delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Science Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI) Prof. Dr. Eko Prasojo, Mag. rer. publ. While becoming the speaker at an International Symposium called “The 2018 KRI- ODPC Reform Policy Symposium and Regional Workshop in Hanoi, Vietnam, Wednesday (25/4/18).

“Firstly, the government must be able and willing to develop transparency and accountability of government performance, not only to exist, but also to make an impact”, he stated.

The second point, according to this Deputy Minister of PAN RB 2011- 2014, is that the Indonesian Government must be able to change and advance the quality of public service.

“And the third point, the government must be able to elevate the amount of public involvement in determining public policies”, he explained.

Attending to accompany the Dean of FIA UI in the forum was the Deputy of MenpanRB RI Dr. (Cand), M. Yusuf Ateh and the Director of UICSGAR Dr. Rudiarto Sumarwono.

It is known that this annual agenda was attended by high ranking officials of the interior ministry, reform ministries, state civil apparatus commissions, experts and academics from ten countries in Asia. (DS)
