Faculty of Administrative Sciences Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI) carry out research activities accompanied by community service. This program is named Research Method Application (AMP), which was held on July 24-August 2, 2018 in Tegal regency, Central Java.

According to the Chief Executive of AMP 2018, Neni Susilawati, M.A. Tegal was chosen as the location of the study because there was still a lack of research in the area. Later 310 students who participated in this activity will live in the homes of residents in 9 villages. “It is expected that this student can feel directly and engage in society so that the result of this research and community service will be more felt by the villagers,” Neni said on Tuesday (24/7).

This year AMP has 9 research topics from 3 FIA UI study programs. According to a lecturer in Public administration, Dr. Lina Miftahul Jannah, M.Si. who is the supervisor in AMP, the main focus of research includes governance and policy. “Previously, we have provided students with writing materials and made research designs in the even semester, and in the field students will conduct interviews with resource persons and process field data. They will be presented to the government. Some of the results of this study also continued to Student Creativity Program in Scientific Article Field (PKM AI),” Lina.

Students who took part in this study welcomed the long-standing program at FIA UI. One of them is a 2016 Business Administration Science student, Jonathan. He has prepared himself carefully to join AMP by taking part in preparing the series of activities from last semester. Jonathan expects the results of his research and presentation can provide innovation for the community.

Approximately 343 participants who participated in this event were released by the Vice Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs FIA UI, Prof. Dr. Ir. Dr. Haula Rosdiana, M.Si with academic team of FIA UI at 06.00 AM. She expects this activity to have a positive impact for students and society.
