The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI) secured 3rd place for Best SDGs Microsite at the 2023 UI SDGs Award. The event was held alongside the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings meeting at Swissotel PIK Jakarta on October 30-31, 2023.
FIA UI remains committed to providing the best publication services to the public, primarily through its official website fia.ui.ac.id. The website publishes all impactful programs and activities, including the faculty’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) initiatives. This commitment led FIA UI to achieve 3rd place in the Best SDGs Microsite category at the prestigious UI SDGs Award 2023.
“FIA UI is dedicated to pursuing various initiatives to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We run multiple programs to contribute to a more sustainable, fair, and prosperous world for everyone,” said Prof. Dr. Chandra Wijaya, M.Si., M.M., Dean of FIA UI.
Prof. Chandra also expressed gratitude to faculty members, students, and collaborators who have contributed to finding solutions for national and global challenges. “Let us continue to improve the quality of our services and work harder to realize the Sustainable Development Goals within FIA UI,” he added.
A microsite is a dedicated web page providing information about SDG-related activities that is accessible to the public. Each SDG comprises several indicators—17 SDGs and 204 indicators in total—which the faculty must address. For each indicator, narratives and supporting evidence are provided to demonstrate the faculty’s efforts. If an indicator lacks content, it signifies that the indicator is either irrelevant or not yet implemented by FIA UI.
The Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings is the only global performance table that evaluates universities based on their contributions to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The methodology is carefully calibrated to offer a comprehensive and balanced comparison across four key areas: Research, Teaching, Stewardship, and Outreach.
The 2023 THE Impact Rankings marked its fifth edition, encompassing 1,591 universities from 112 countries and regions worldwide.
