In order to implement the Independent Learning Program on the Independent Campus launched by the Minister of Education and Technology, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, University of Indonesia (FIA UI) together with the Faculty of Administrative Sciences Universitas Brawijaya (FIA UB) signed a cooperation agreement during the National Meeting and Meeting of the Dean of Sciences Forum. Social Affairs throughout Indonesia (Fordekkis) on Saturday, July 2, 2022.
One of the collaborations established is in the implementation of MBKM Program student activities in participating in the implementation of elective courses which are carried out both offline and online (during the pandemic) which are agreed upon by both parties.
The cooperation agreement signed by the Dean of FIA UI Prof. Dr. Chandra Wijaya, M.Sc., MM., and the Dean of FIA UB Drs. You Fefta Wijaya, MDA, Ph.D. This will later involve the Business Administration Study Program FIA UB with the Governance of Commerce Study Program FIA UI, the FIA UB Taxation Study Program with the FIA UI Fiscal Administration Study Program, and the FIA UB Public Administration Study Program with the FIA UI Public Administration Studies.
Prof. Chandra explained that some of the objectives of this collaboration were to improve the competence of graduates, both soft skills and hard skills, to be more prepared and relevant to the needs of the times. It is also an experiential learning program that can facilitate students to develop their potential according to their patients and talents.
“There are also several other goals such as encouraging students to master various sciences and skills through experiential learning that is useful for entering the world of work and character development, providing opportunities for students to determine courses outside the study program in a directed manner, and last but not least, building friendships. inter-regional, ethnic, cultural, and religious students so as to increase the spirit of national unity and integrity,” he said.
Also attending the meeting from the FIA UI were the Vice Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs, Dr. Fibria Indriati Dwi Liestiawati, S.Sos., M.Sc., Deputy Dean for Resources, Ventures, and General Administration Dr. Milla Sepliana Setyowati, S.Sos., M.Ak, and the Executive Secretary Dr. Umanto, M.Si. As for the FIA UB who were also present at the signing of this cooperation agreement, namely the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Arik Prasetya, S.Sos., M.Sc., Ph.D., Deputy Dean for General Affairs, Finance and Resources Dr. Muhammad Faisal Riza, S.Sos., M.Sc., and the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni Dr. Mochamad Rozikin, M.AP.
