BEM FIA UI Held Seputar Career Vol.II

Department of Science and Education of the Student Executive Board (BEM FIA UI) 2020 held an online seminar about Career Vol. II with the theme “Gather Knowledge for The Future Career”.

This activity was held for two days on Saturday (24/10) and Sunday (25/10) with the aim of providing knowledge and education to FIA UI students regarding job prospects for each department at FIA UI specifically.

In addition, the event, which was held in collaboration with ILUNI FIA UI, was also carried out as a means of sharing the speakers experiences who are FIA UI alumni, so as to help FIA UI students understand more about post-campus life.

“Be sure with what you want and be confident,” said Taufan Andhiko who is a Senior Tax Manager at Deloitte Touche Solutions for more than 12 years in closing his presentation material in the Fiscal Administration session.

The online seminar which has been held in two days is divided into three sessions, namely the Fiscal Administration, Business Administration, and Public Administration sessions. Furthermore, each session was filled by two speakers, namely I Putu Andhika Surya (Fiscal 1987) and Taufan Andhiko (Fiscal 2004) as speakers in the Fiscal session. Then, Erizal (Niaga 1989) and Baptista Ezra Dwi Suryananda (Niaga 2014) as speakers in the Business session. And, Okta Yudhi Kusuma (Negara 2014) and Sidik Jiwando (Negara 2014) as resource persons in the Public session.

In this activity, FIA UI students can interact directly with the speakers through a question and answer session.

“The interesting thing when working at Bappenas is when you have to do direct field monitoring. In this case, Bappenas staff can interact directly with the community, especially in my experience the people are very friendly and open in receiving us from Bappenas, “said Sidik Jiwando, who is currently working at the Ministry of National Development Planning / BAPPENAS as a speaker in the Public session.

It is known, online seminars on Career Vol. II which was held specifically for FIA UI Students took place interactively.

This activity was carried out in collaboration with Deloitte Touche Solutions, the Directorate General of Taxes of the Indonesian Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of National Development Planning / BAPPENAS, Bank Mandiri, and PT. Shell Indonesia Global.
