DEPOK. The Family Women Association Universitas Indonesia (IWK UI) held an Education Fund Assistance Program for the sons of UI staff at the University Hall on Thursday (6/9). This Education Funding is an annual activity of IWK UI. This activity aims to improve the achievements of UI staff.

IWK UI Secretary, Mrs. Rini Arbiyanti said as many as 230 children received education funding assistance at this event consisting of 83 elementary school students, 69 junior high school students and 78 senior high school students. “The funding is purely from Universitas Indonesia,” she explained.

This program received a positive response from FIA UI employees, one of them was Nurlaela. “Alhamdulillah (praise be to God), I am very happy to get sustenance for my child’s school,” he said. Educational funding assistance amount of money and stationery was given to 1st and 2nd class of employees both civil servants, UI employees and contracts. Before that, they first followed the file selection, which included the average report card score above 8 on a scale of 10.

IWK UI is a bond of the wives of UI lecturers who now have 30 members and is chaired by the wife of the UI rector, Mrs. Eva Anis. Each faculty has its own IWK as an extension of the IWK UI. FIA UI has just formed IWK FIA UI in 2017 which is chaired by the wife of the FIA ​​UI Dean, Ms. Ceffi Jenevita. In addition to providing educational funding, IWK also has other agendas such as Gathering with Warakawuri UI and the Ramadan Bazaar. (EM)
