INAUGURATION FIA UI 2018

DEPOK. The Faculty of Administrative Sciences Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI) held an Inauguration of the Universitas Indonesia Administrative Sciences even semester 2017/2018 school year on Tuesday (28/8). The event, which was packed with a semi-formal concept, was attended by around 150 graduates from undergraduate, master and doctoral programs. The inauguration held at the Auditorium of the M Building FIA UI was themed “FIA UI GOES TO GLOBAL”.

In his speech, Dean of FIA UI, Prof. Dr. Eko Prasojo invited graduates to continue contributing to the FIA and the community. “As alumni, we must be able to provide solutions to community problems, not to be part of the problem,” said Prof. Eko. Symbolically representatives of graduates were paired with FIA UI alumni ties.
The graduates were invited to recall the memory of the new students by playing a moment video when they entered FIA UI. After that the graduates also expressed the impression that their message represented their friends as FIA UI graduates. Graduates were also appreciated with 11 academic categories and 5 award categories in the FIA UI version, namely lecture friendly graduates, activist graduates, sporty graduates, creative graduates, and popular graduates.

Not only that, the Inauguration was also enlivened by a special performance from the FIA ​​UI Professor. Guided by Vice Dean for Education, Research and Student Affairs, Prof. Haula Rosdiana who brought the song arrangement sepanjang jalan kenangan . After that, Prof. Eko and the professors also contributed songs as the final offering for graduates.

The event was also enlivened by UKF starting from ADM Choir, UKF Traditional Dance, and UKF Band FIA UI. This year’s Inauguration Committee is a combination of FIA UI staff and representatives of each FIA UI student institution. “Student participation has become our new concept, hopefully it will be maintained in the future,” said the head of the Inauguration Committee, Eko Sakapurnama, S.Psi., M.BA. Eko was grateful that this event was welcomed positively by all of the FIA’s great families.

For your information, the number of graduates who graduated from FIA and Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) numbered 242 people.(EM)
