It is my pleasure to share with you the first Indonesian Graduate Skills Development (GSD) Programme, which was designed in line with UNDP Diversity and Inclusiveness Strategy.
The GSD programme is designed for highly qualified and motivated young people recently graduated from University in areas relevant to UNDP programme and policy work or in the areas of management services. As such it is different from the internship programme.
This programme will be beneficial to both UNDP and the candidates. It will give young graduates “on the job” professional skills development, which will be useful for their career. At the same time, it will allow UNDP to strengthen its capacity for research and services.
The GSD programme will conduct selection through normal competitive process and successful candidate will be hired under service contract with salary pegged at SC 1 peg 2 on prevailing SC salary scale. Duration will be 6 months initially, with extension up to 2 years. There will be an option for rotation to another post after completion of the first year.
The initial cohort will consist of 20 young graduates, who will received assignments based on requests received. Further detail is outlined in the enclosed policy with samples of generic ToR. To prepare your request, please contact HR colleagues ( email@example.com)
