Center for Innovative and Governance (CIGO)

CIGO FIA UI (Center for Innovative Governance and Organization) is a research cluster that focuses on developing innovative governance models to address the hyper-complex challenges of the modern world. These challenges include the technological disruptions of Industry 5.0, the Leadership 2030 phenomenon, geopolitical instability, the impact of the climate crisis, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) policies at the organizational level. CIGO also addresses issues related to innovation and entrepreneurship, including the creation and mentoring of new businesses through innovative, creative, impactful, and sustainable processes.

Through a multidisciplinary approach, CIGO explores organizational innovation, organizational policies, and social solutions to build adaptive, evidence-based, and sustainable governance models, as well as the creation of new businesses that are innovative, impactful, and resilient.

CIGO’s research scope includes:

  • Redesigning adaptive organizational governance
  • Strengthening organizational resilience in the post-pandemic era
  • Developing collaborative frameworks (Penta-Helix) involving government, the private sector, and civil society
  • Building ecosystems that support innovation and entrepreneurship
