The double degree program is a collaborative master degree program of collaboration between the FIA UI and an overseas partner campus that allows students to earn two academic degrees awarded by both campuses within a two-year study period.

Double Degree Program in E-Government
– Double Degree Program in E-Government is a master degree program (with double degree scheme) in collaboration with Victoria University of Wellington. This program lasts for two years in the field of Administrative Science and Public Policy. Learners can earn a Master degree from two universities, namely:
– Universitas Indonesia (M.A or Master of Science in Administration)
– Victoria University of Wellington (holds MEGov or e-government)

In addition to obtaining two academic degrees in a relatively short study period, the benefits to be gained from the learners in this program are:
– Learn how best to deliver Public Services by optimally utilizing Technology and Information
– Studying design and implementing transformational e-government achieves wider outcomes on public service satisfaction
– Building a global communications network with renowned experts and academics at Victoria University of Wellington

E-Government Double Degree Program Requirements
a. The first year input criteria (first semester) is determined by the Universitas Indonesia as follows:

A graduate of a Bachelor or Diploma IV from a College / Domestic High School accredited by BAN-PT or a Foreign University recognized by the Higher Education.
Following Universitas Indonesia Entrance Selection (SIMAK UI) for Master Program includes Academic Potential Test (TPA) and English (TOEFL standard). The materials are specially designed by the UI New Student Admissions Committee
Obtain a minimum TPA of 450 and English minimum 500 from SIMAK UI, with a minimum combined value of 950. This requirement aims to facilitate students to obtain Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Victoria University of Wellington so that if there are students who still get Conditional LoA the value of English that needs to be improved, then the student can prepare in the first semester at UI.
b. The second year input criterion (second semester) is determined by Victoria University of Wellington ie:

The Grade Point Average (GPA) at the end of the first semester at Universitas Indonesia is at least 3.00.
Graduated all the courses set by University of Indonesia at the end of the first semester.
IELTS minimum overall score of 6.5 with no score below 6.0 and minimum writing 6.5, or IBT TOEFL minimum 90 with minimum writing score 24.

Sebagai upaya mewujudkan visi Fakultas Ilmu Administrasi Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI) untuk menjadi fakultas yang unggul di bidang administrasi dan ilmu kebijakan dan manajemen strategis di Asia, FIA UI menjalin kerja sama dengan sejumlah universitas ternama di luar negeri untuk menawarkan program pendidikan yang sangat baik dalam bentuk program (Double Degree).

Program gelar ganda adalah program gelar master kolaborasi kolaborasi antara FIA UI dan kampus mitra luar negeri yang memungkinkan siswa untuk mendapatkan dua gelar akademik yang diberikan oleh kedua kampus dalam periode studi dua tahun.

Program Double Degree di E-Government
– Program Double Degree di E-Government adalah program gelar master (dengan skema gelar ganda) bekerja sama dengan Victoria University of Wellington. Program ini berlangsung selama dua tahun di bidang Ilmu Administrasi dan Kebijakan Publik. Peserta didik dapat memperoleh gelar Master dari dua universitas, yaitu:
– Universitas Indonesia (M.A atau Master of Science in Administration)
– Victoria University of Wellington (memegang MEGov atau e-government)

Selain memperoleh dua gelar akademik dalam periode studi yang relatif singkat, manfaat yang dapat diperoleh dari para mahasiswa dalam program ini yaitu:
– Mempelajari cara terbaik untuk memberikan Layanan Publik dengan memanfaatkan Teknologi dan Informasi secara optimal
– Mempelajari desain dan menerapkan e-government transformasional mencapai hasil yang lebih luas pada kepuasan layanan publik
– Membangun jaringan komunikasi global dengan para ahli dan akademisi terkenal di Victoria University of Wellington

Persyaratan Program Gelar Ganda E-Government
a. Kriteria tahun pertama (semester pertama) ditentukan oleh Universitas Indonesia sebagai berikut:

  1. Lulusan Sarjana atau Diploma IV dari Perguruan Tinggi / Sekolah Tinggi Dalam Negeri yang diakreditasi oleh BAN-PT atau Universitas Asing yang diakui oleh Pendidikan Tinggi.
  2. Mengikuti Seleksi Masuk Universitas Indonesia (SIMAK UI) untuk Program Magister meliputi Tes Potensi Akademik (TPA) dan Bahasa Inggris (standar TOEFL). Materi yang dirancang khusus oleh Komite Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru UI
  3. Memperoleh hasil TPA minimal 450 dan Bahasa Inggris minimum 500 dari SIMAK UI, dengan nilai gabungan minimal 950. Persyaratan ini bertujuan untuk memfasilitasi siswa mendapatkan Letter of Acceptance (LoA) dari Victoria University of Wellington sehingga jika ada siswa yang masih mendapatkan LoA

Bersyarat nilai bahasa Inggris yang perlu ditingkatkan, maka siswa dapat mempersiapkan diri pada semester pertama di UI.

b. Kriteria tahun kedua (semester kedua) ditentukan oleh Victoria University of Wellington yaitu:

  1. Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) pada akhir semester pertama di Universitas Indonesia paling sedikit 3,00.
  2. Menyelesaikan semua mata kuliah yang ditetapkan oleh Universitas Indonesia pada akhir semester pertama.
  3. Skor keseluruhan IELTS minimal 6,5 dengan tidak ada skor di bawah 6.0 dan minimal menulis 6.5, atau IBT TOEFL minimal 90 dengan skor menulis minimal 24.
  4. Mengikuti Proses Administrasi untuk Siswa Baru di Universitas Victoria Wellington.
