More than 500 attendees visited the booth of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI), during the two-day UI Open Days event held on Saturday and Sunday, May 3–4, 2025, at Balairung, UI Campus, Depok. UI Open Days is a highly anticipated event among students across the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek), attracting participants from various regions eager to learn more about the faculties and academic programs offered by Universitas Indonesia.
Prof. Arie Afriansyah, S.H., M.I.L., Ph.D., Director of Public Relations, Media, Government, and International Affairs at UI and Chair of the UI Open Days 2025 Organizing Committee, stated that UI Open Days is a regular event held by Universitas Indonesia to introduce its wide range of academic programs at all levels—from faculties and schools to vocational programs.
“We hope that UI Open Days provides accessible information for prospective students and serves as UI’s initiative to widely disseminate information, acting both as a promotional and socialization platform for future students,” said Prof. Arie.
As the youngest faculty at UI, FIA UI actively took part in presenting its academic programs, ranging from undergraduate to master’s and doctoral levels, to attendees through presentation sessions at the main hall and interactive discussions at the FIA UI booth. The faculty also offered various engaging activities, including a spin-the-wheel game and a “dream wall” where visitors could write and post their aspirations.
Participants’ enthusiasm was evident from the many questions asked about FIA UI, covering topics such as admission procedures, entry pathways, enrollment quotas, and course offerings. Students from FIA UI’s Creative Promotion Team (CPT) also played an active role in introducing the faculty to visitors and helping to answer inquiries.
