Depok, April 2, 2026 — The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI), organized a Halal Bihalal event for Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri as a momentum to strengthen ties and reinforce the spirit of togetherness within the academic community. The event was attended by faculty leaders, lecturers, administrative staff, and students.

In her remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences Universitas Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Dra. Retno Kusumastuti Hardjono, M.Si., stated that the Halal Bihalal gathering is a meaningful tradition that is consistently held each year within FIA UI. She emphasized that the event serves not only as a platform for reconnecting and fostering relationships, but also as a way to strengthen solidarity and a sense of family among members of the academic community following the holy month of Ramadan.

“Halal Bihalal is a valuable tradition that we must continue to uphold. I hope that all the good deeds and the spirit we have built during Ramadan do not end here, but can be sustained in our daily lives, bringing blessings to both our professional environment and social interactions,” said Prof. Retno.

As part of efforts to strengthen spiritual values and post-Ramadan reflection, the event also featured a religious lecture (tausiyah) delivered by KH. Muhammad Nur Effendi. In his session, he encouraged all attendees to continue upholding sincerity, togetherness, and integrity in both social life and the workplace.

Through this event, FIA UI hopes that the spirit of Ramadan will not merely remain an annual tradition, but can be continuously implemented in everyday life, including in carrying out academic and professional responsibilities.
