Risk Governance Centre (RGC) of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI) Conducts Credit Guarantee Human Resource Competency Development Training and Professional Certification Exam Preparation

The Risk Governance Centre (RGC) of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI) successfully held the Human Resource Competency Development Training for Credit Guarantee Personnel and Professional Certification Exam Preparation on August 21–22, 2025.

A total of 28 participants from PT Jamkrida Jawa Barat took part in an intensive two-day training delivered by experts and practitioners from the credit guarantee industry.

The training covered a wide range of topics, including industry strengthening strategies, accounting and governance, risk management, guarantee portfolio management, human resource development, as well as legal and claims aspects in credit guarantee.

Each participant received a Comprehensive Competency Unit Guidebook for the Credit Guarantee Industry, serving as a practical reference for both certification exam preparation and real-world application.

The program concluded with a post-test assessment, which showed that all participants were declared competent according to the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) under Minister of Manpower Decree No. 231 of 2020. This achievement reflects both the quality of the training and the participants’ commitment to mastering credit guarantee expertise.

Drs. Asrori, MA, FLMI, AIAA, ACS, Head of RGC FIA UI, emphasized the strategic role of credit guarantee professionals in supporting national financial inclusion goals.

“The credit guarantee industry requires professionals who are certified, competent, and uphold integrity. Strong competencies enable guarantee professionals to facilitate greater access to financing for MSMEs and cooperatives, making them more bankable,” he stated.

This success reinforces FIA UI and RGC’s commitment to producing highly qualified human resources, strengthening governance, and fostering a healthy, competitive, and sustainable national credit guarantee ecosystem.

Drs. Asrori also highlighted that the implementation of SKKNI in the credit guarantee sector serves as a strategic instrument in building a trustworthy and robust industry ecosystem. He noted that these competency standards not only ensure individual quality but also provide the foundation for credit guarantee institutions to maintain credibility, strengthen governance, and enhance public trust.

“With SKKNI, we have clear benchmarks to ensure that every credit guarantee professional possesses equivalent, professional, and reliable capabilities,” he affirmed.

He reiterated FIA UI’s ongoing commitment through RGC to support the government and industry players in developing credit guarantee human resources. This commitment is realized through continuous training programs, research initiatives, and the development of learning modules aligned with industry needs.
