Jakarta, 28 November 2025 — The Risk Governance Centre (RGC) of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI), once again reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing professional competence in the guarantee sector through the organization of the Specialist Guarantee Expert Training: Guarantee Analysis and Claims & Subrogation for Department Heads of PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo). This activity was held at the Jamkrindo Head Office, Jakarta, on 26–27 November 2025.

The two-day training program was designed to develop excellent human resources and strengthen the capacity of professionals in the guarantee industry, which is facing increasingly complex challenges. The program also serves as preparation for participants to undertake certification by the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP).

The event was opened by the Director of Human Resources Management, General Affairs, and Risk Management of PT Jamkrindo, Ivan Soeparno, who emphasized the importance of improving human resource competence as a strategic asset of the company. Remarks were also delivered by the Dean of FIA UI, represented by the Head of the Dean’s Office, Dr. Umanto, who highlighted the importance of synergy between universities and industry to ensure that human resource development remains relevant to market needs.

On a separate occasion, the Head of RGC’s Guarantee Division, Dr. Diding S. Anwar, FMII, expressed appreciation for the implementation of the training and reaffirmed FIA UI’s commitment through RGC to serve as a strategic partner for guarantee institutions in building a professional, healthy, and competitive industry ecosystem.

The training featured speakers from various backgrounds, including academics, guarantee and banking practitioners, as well as regulators from the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Competency-based materials were delivered by Agus Supriadi, Jimmi Setya Budi, Bambang Hendraman, and Antoro Asih, covering modules ranging from guarantee portfolio management, product marketing, guarantee risk management, to claims and subrogation management.

An OJK representative, Herbert Salomo, outlined strategies for strengthening the guarantee industry and discussed current issues in the sector. Meanwhile, Dr. Tafsir Nurchamid, Akt., M.Si., discussed financial performance analysis, while legal aspects of cooperation agreements were presented by Dr. Try Widiyono, SH., MH. Material on banking–guarantee collaboration was delivered by Azie Mega Poetra from BNI 46, emphasizing the importance of synergy between the two sectors to support MSME financing.

RGC FIA UI conducted a final evaluation through a post-test to measure participants’ understanding of all the materials presented. Three participants with the highest scores received awards from the organizers.

PT Jamkrindo, as the largest guarantee company in Indonesia and part of Indonesia Financial Group (IFG), continues to be committed to improving service quality through strengthening human resource capacity.

This training is part of the RGC FIA UI Class program series, which has previously received positive responses from various guarantee companies across the country. It is expected that these programs will contribute to the development of a more professional and integrity-driven guarantee industry.
