Depok, January 30, 2026 — The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI), held a webinar titled “Reflecting on One Year of Coretax: Opportunities and Challenges in Strengthening Indonesia’s Tax Administration Capacity.” The webinar was conducted online via Zoom Meeting and attended by academics, practitioners, and observers of tax policy.

The webinar featured several prominent speakers in the field of taxation, namely Rosmauli, L.L.M., Director of Counseling, Services, and Public Relations at the Directorate General of Taxes; Ajib Hamdani, S.E., Chair of the Economic Policy Analysis Committee of APINDO; and Dr. Prianto Budi Saptono, M.B.A., a lecturer at the Department of Fiscal Administration, FIA UI. The discussion was moderated by Dr. Neni Susilawati, S.Sos., M.A., CertDA., CSRS., a lecturer at the Department of Fiscal Administration, FIA UI.

In their presentations, the speakers reviewed the implementation of Coretax over the past year as part of the transformation of tax administration through information technology. The discussion covered the background of Coretax development, the system’s fundamental logic as an IT-based tax administration platform, as well as the opportunities and challenges in strengthening Indonesia’s tax administration capacity.

The webinar was supported by POLTAX, ULGAP, DTA, IFTAA, IKPI, and Tax Centre. Through this webinar, FIA UI hopes to contribute to enriching public discourse and to provide constructive input for strengthening a more adaptive, transparent, and sustainable national tax administration system.
