Depok, July 17, 2025 – Lecturers from the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI), took part in training on the E-learning Management System version 3 (EMAS 3) held in the Smart Class Room, 3rd Floor, Building M, FIA UI. The session featured two speakers: Desy Rachmawati from the Directorate of Digital Education Development (DPPD UI) and Neni Susilawati, a lecturer at FIA UI.

EMAS 3 is UI’s learning management system designed to support the teaching process, offering new features such as online camproctoring for exam supervision, peer assessment for group evaluation, and plagiarism checks for detecting assignment similarities. Additionally, the annotated PDF feature enables lecturers to provide direct feedback on assignments without downloading them.

The latest version, EMAS 3, comes with a more modern yet familiar interface for EMAS 2 users. Supported by an upgrade to Moodle 4.4, it also offers enhanced security features. Navigation has been made simpler and more user-friendly, although integration with SIAK is still under development.

During the training, FIA UI lecturers engaged in hands-on practice with EMAS 3 guided by the speakers.

“We hope lecturers can start using EMAS 3 for classes next semester,” said Desy.

The training was held to help lecturers become familiar with EMAS 3, ensuring a more effective teaching and learning process while enabling them to fully utilize its latest features.
