Depok, 22 December 2025 – The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI) signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Lampung (FISIP Unila). This signing aims to strengthen academic collaboration in the fields of education, research, and community service.

The signing ceremony took place at the FIA UI Dean’s Building, Universitas Indonesia Depok Campus. Representing FIA UI were the Dean of FIA UI, Prof. Dr. Dra. Retno Kusumastuti Hardjono, M.Si., the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Teguh Kurniawan, M.Sc., and the Vice Dean for Resources, Ventures, and Administration, Prof. Dr. Milla Sepliana Setyowati, M.Ak. Meanwhile, FISIP Unila was represented by its Dean, Prof. Dr. Anna Gustina Zainal, S.Sos., M.Si., along with her delegation.

Prof. Retno, as Dean of FIA UI, stated that this cooperation serves as a strategic momentum for mutual learning and sharing experiences in the development of public administration and social sciences. “This collaboration will support the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka program through student exchanges, guest lecturers, and joint research,” she said.

Prof. Anna added that the agreement complements FISIP Unila’s network with leading universities. “We are optimistic that synergy with FIA UI will enhance the quality of education and the relevance of the curriculum to regional development needs,” she stated.

The scope of the cooperation includes curriculum development, faculty training, student exchanges, collaborative research, and community service in the field of governance.

This cooperation is part of FIA UI’s efforts to expand its national strategic partnerships, in line with its vision to become a center of excellence in administrative sciences in Southeast Asia. FISIP Unila also continues to actively build partnerships to support the implementation of the university’s Tridharma.
