Jakarta, June 4, 2024 – The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI), held a monitoring and evaluation session for the implementation of the Center for Independent Learning – Integrated Learning (CIL BETER) and the Master’s Program in collaboration with the Mahakam Ulu Regency Government. The event took place on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at the Studentpreneur Smart Class, FIA UI Building, from 09:30 AM to 1:00 PM WIB.

The main objective of this event was to follow up on the collaboration that has been established over the past four years between FIA UI and the Mahakam Ulu Regency Government. The monitoring and evaluation were conducted as part of the control measures in implementing the partnership.

Since 2022, the Mahakam Ulu Regency Government has assigned its civil servants to participate in the CIL BETER program for participants with a high school or equivalent background, and the Credit Earning Program (CEP) for bachelor’s degree holders, which is continued with the Master’s Program. Dr. Fibria Indriati, M.Si., M.M., Vice Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs of FIA UI, presented the evaluation results to Bonafasius Belawan Geh, S.H., M.E., Regent of Mahakam Ulu.

The evaluation showed that the majority of participants in the CIL BETER and Master’s programs achieved good results, although there were technical challenges during the learning process due to geographical conditions and network stability. Bonafasius reaffirmed his commitment to improving human resource capacity within the Mahakam Ulu Regency Government through civil servants’ participation in these programs.

“We are committed to enhancing human resource capacity within the Mahakam Ulu Regency Government by involving civil servants in the CIL BETER and Master’s programs at FIA UI. Over the past two years, we have seen satisfactory results from their participation,” said Bonafasius Belawan Geh, S.H., M.E.

“Although there were technical challenges during the learning process due to geographical factors and network stability, most participants made efforts to follow the lessons well,” added Dr. Fibria Indriati, M.Si.

This monitoring and evaluation event marks an important step in improving the quality of education and human resource capacity in Mahakam Ulu Regency, in line with efforts to achieve sustainable development.
