Depok, August 13, 2025 – The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI) held the Faculty Academic System Introduction Program, attended by more than 600 new undergraduate and postgraduate students, at FIA UI’s New Building. On this occasion, Dean of FIA UI, Prof. Dr. Dra. Retno Kusumastuti Hardjono, M.Si., delivered her appreciation and welcomed all new students.

“Welcome to the big family of FIA UI. Your presence here is an extraordinary achievement, as each student has succeeded in surpassing 70 other applicants in a highly competitive selection process. I hope you will explore your potential and become excellent and impactful individuals, in line with UI’s tagline,” she said.

Prof. Irfan Ridwan Maksum, M.Si., Chair of the Faculty Academic Senate (SAF), was also present and welcomed the students to the coolest campus in Indonesia, where FIA UI ranks first in Indonesia, fifth in ASEAN, and 51–100 in the world.

In addition, Chair of the Faculty Board of Professors (DGBF), Prof. Eko Prasojo, Mag.re.publ., explained FIA’s pillars of knowledge, which include policy, governance, culture, institutions, and innovation—concepts that new students are expected to understand as the foundation for their future learning.

“As FIA students, you must uphold the ‘FIA Kita’ values—Commitment, Integrity, Transformative, and Trustworthy,” he explained.

New students also received an explanation regarding codes of conduct, including prohibited actions and violations that students must avoid.

For information, this event will take place over three days, from August 13 to 15, 2025, while postgraduate students will join the PSAF program on August 23, 2025.
