Bandung, 27 November 2025 — Following the successful implementation of its international conference, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI) continued its series of activities with a visit to Gedung Sate, where they were officially received by the Provincial Government of West Java. The FIA UI delegation was warmly welcomed by the West Java Government as a form of support for strengthening synergy between academia and local government.
The program began with remarks from the Chair of the Council of Professors of Universitas Indonesia, Prof. Eko Prasojo, Mag.rer.publ., who expressed his appreciation for the warm reception by the Provincial Government of West Java.
The session continued with remarks delivered by the Governor of West Java, Kang Dedi Mulyadi, who emphasized the importance of long-term collaboration between UI and the Provincial Government of West Java.
“Collaboration between UI and the West Java Provincial Government is expected to produce graduates capable of contributing to the development of West Java, in line with the needs and challenges of the next 50 years,” stated Kang Dedi.
Kang Dedi further highlighted that regional development should not rely solely on technocratic aspects and data-driven policies, but must also be anchored in cultural and ancestral values. He noted that strong leadership identity is born from imagination, dreams, and aspirations, allowing public policies to guide society toward a future that is both competitive and rich in character.
This visit marks a strong first step in strengthening the strategic partnership between FIA UI and the Provincial Government of West Java. Moving forward, both parties will explore collaboration opportunities across various areas, including research, public governance innovation, human resource capacity building, and policy recommendation initiatives.
Through ongoing cooperation, FIA UI and the Provincial Government of West Java aim to ensure that contributions in science and public administration translate into tangible benefits for the welfare of the local community.
