Depok, 2 December 2025 — The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI), once again held the Global Lounge 11 Sharing Session entitled “Discovering Summer Abroad by Connecting Cultures and Expanding Minds” at the SmartClass Room, 3rd Floor of Building M. This activity served as a platform for sharing international mobility experiences among students while also introducing various academic program opportunities abroad.

In the opening session, the Academic and International Cooperation Unit of FIA UI delivered information regarding the mechanisms and stages of international mobility reporting, starting from Pre-Application Requirements, Post-Acceptance Reporting, to Post-Program Reporting. In addition, various types of programs available for students were also presented, such as exchange programs, paying study abroad programs, and short course/summer/winter camps offered by partner universities in various countries.

The activity continued with experience-sharing sessions from two FIA UI students who had participated in international programs. The first speaker, Sazkia Ismi Almira, shared her experience of joining the UM x AUN Summer Camp for two weeks at Universiti Malaya, focusing on sustainability issues. The program provided opportunities for networking with students from nine ASEAN countries, as well as cultural exploration experiences and academic visits.

The next session featured Shyalima Regita P, who shared her story of participating in the UP HIRAYA program, a three-week exchange program in the Philippines. This program included cultural integration activities, community-based training, theoretical learning, and the practice of community engagement as a form of direct application.

Both speakers emphasized that involvement in international programs provides global insight, expands professional networks, and supports students’ personal development.

Through Global Lounge 11, FIA UI reaffirmed its commitment to encouraging more students to participate in academic activities abroad. The Academic and International Cooperation Unit of FIA UI will continue to provide up-to-date information, open consultation sessions, and assist with administrative processes so that students are increasingly prepared and confident in undertaking international mobility programs.
