Depok, February 20, 2025 – The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, University of Indonesia (FIA UI), in collaboration with the Institute of Advanced Energy at Kyoto University and the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), has established a partnership to promote quality education and research. Held on the 2nd floor of Building M, the cooperation focuses on various areas, including education, research, and community service, in alignment with the university’s Tri Dharma principles.
Dean of FIA UI, Prof. Dr. Retno Kusumastuti Hardjono, M.Si., welcomed Mr. Jordi Cravioto from Kyoto University, who serves as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Advanced Energy. She emphasized the potential for academic collaboration, particularly in energy policy research. “We can collaborate on research together, especially on energy policy,” she remarked.
Jordi also expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration between Kyoto University and FIA UI, particularly regarding energy governance policies. “We are open to this collaboration, including joint research projects and joint courses,” Jordi explained.
This partnership is expected to foster mutual synergy between the institutions, enhancing the quality of education, research, and international publications.
With a strong commitment to research and development, FIA UI and Kyoto University aim to continuously improve educational and research quality. This collaboration is anticipated to drive shared progress while strengthening both institutions’ positions in advancing scientific knowledge on an international scale.
The collaboration also involves BRIN, with several key delegates attending the event. Among them were Dr. Krisna Puji Rahmayanti, MPA, Coordinator of Academic and International Cooperation at FIA UI, Anugerah Yuka Asmara, researcher and Coordinator of the Research Team, as well as Dhian Kusumawardhani and Danarsiwi, researchers from BRIN.
