Depok, 6 May 2026 – Fakultas Ilmu Administrasi Universitas Indonesia held the first day of Research Day 2026 as a platform for disseminating research findings, innovation, and community engagement initiatives developed by members of its academic community. The event carried the theme “Accelerating Research, Innovation, and Community Impact through AI and Collaboration.”
The event was officially opened by the Vice Dean for Education, Student Affairs, and Research of FIA UI, Prof. Dr. Teguh Kurniawan, M.Sc., who emphasized the importance of strengthening research capacity and collaboration in addressing development challenges and enhancing academic contributions.
The main agenda of the first day featured presentations and discussion sessions from research groups within FIA UI.
The participating clusters included Policy, Governance, and Administrative Reform (PGAR), Democracy and Local Governance (DeLOGO), Innovation and Comparative Governance (ICG), Collaborative Governance, Digital Transformation, and Public Services (CG-DTPS), Public Management and Organizational Culture (PMOC), as well as the Center for Innovative Governance (CIGO).
Through these sessions, researchers presented various findings and innovations covering strategic issues in public policy, governance, digital transformation, and organizational culture. The interactive discussions provided opportunities for exchanging ideas and strengthening interdisciplinary perspectives across fields of study.
In addition, participants were invited to visit an exhibition showcasing research innovations and community engagement initiatives held at the M Building corridor of FIA UI. The exhibition served as a platform to introduce research outputs while opening opportunities for further collaboration among members of the academic community.
The Research Day series forms part of FIA UI’s ongoing efforts to encourage the dissemination of research, innovation, and community engagement outcomes, while also strengthening collaboration among researchers within the academic environment.
The event also reflects FIA UI’s commitment to fostering a productive, relevant, and sustainable research ecosystem that contributes to the advancement of knowledge and public policy development.
