Beijing, 4 November 2025 — The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI), attended The 10th International Advisory Board Meeting hosted by the School of Economics and Management, Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU).

The FIA UI delegation was led by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Retno Kusumastuti, M.Si., accompanied by the Vice Dean for Resources, Ventures, and General Administration, Prof. Dr. Milla Sepliana Setyowati, M.Ak., and the Coordinator for Academic and International Cooperation, Dr. Krisna Puji Rahmayanti, M.P.A.

In addition to FIA UI, the meeting was attended by leaders from various international institutions, including Prof. TC Edwin Cheng (Dean of the Business School, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University), Eric Cornuel (President of the European Foundation for Management Development), Roel Jozef Leus (Chairman of Katholieke Universiteit Leuven), Binbin Fan (Regional General Manager, Bank of China Dubai Branch), as well as representatives from the University of Ljubljana, United Arab Emirates University, Rotterdam School of Management Erasmus University, and several other institutions.

During the forum, FIA UI explored opportunities for collaboration with BJTU and other partner universities, particularly in the areas of student exchange, academic staff mobility, and the joint hosting of international conferences.

Discussions between FIA UI and BJTU resulted in a mutual understanding to further confirm technical arrangements for undergraduate student exchanges and joint classes, as well as opportunities for Double Degree classes at the master’s level. In addition, there is potential for student exchange collaboration with the University of Ljubljana, which is currently being followed up for further discussion.

Both parties also committed to inviting lecturers and professors to participate in academic activities such as seminars, guest lectures, and visiting professor programs, as well as to expanding participation in future International Advisory Board Meetings.

FIA UI’s participation in this meeting underscores the faculty’s commitment to continuously strengthening global cooperation networks, supporting the internationalization of Indonesian higher education, and expanding FIA UI’s academic impact at the international level.
