Beijing, 4 November 2025 — The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI), continued its series of international cooperation visits in China by holding a meeting with the School of Public Administration and Policy, Renmin University of China. The meeting aimed to strengthen academic and research collaboration in the field of public administration as well as capacity building for students and faculty members.
The FIA UI delegation was led by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Retno Kusumastuti, M.Si., accompanied by the Vice Dean for Resources, Ventures, and General Administration, Prof. Dr. Milla Sepliana Setyowati, M.Ak., and the International Office Coordinator, Dr. Krisna Puji Rahmayanti, M.P.A. Meanwhile, the School of Public Administration and Policy, Renmin University, was represented by Prof. Yan Jimmin (Dean), Prof. Win Bo (Vice Dean), and Li Haihan (International Exchange Coordinator).
During the meeting, both institutions discussed several collaboration opportunities, including the implementation of the IMPA Study Tour – Summer Program, joint research, and staff and student mobility. Through the FIA UI IMPA Study Tour – Summer Program 2026 initiative, students from Renmin University will have the opportunity to participate in academic activities and field visits in Indonesia. Conversely, FIA UI students will also have the opportunity to join similar programs at Renmin University.
In addition, both parties opened opportunities for joint research collaboration and the submission of research grants. Cooperation will also be expanded through faculty and academic staff exchange programs, as well as joint participation in seminars and research sharing activities to be held periodically by FIA UI.
This meeting marks a strategic step for FIA UI in expanding its global academic network and strengthening its research contribution in the field of public administration. Collaboration with the School of Public Administration and Policy, Renmin University, is expected to encourage the exchange of ideas and the development of public governance practices at the international level.
