Depok, 24 November 2025 — The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI), held a pre-conference titled “Unlocking Research Potential: AI, Analytics, and Publishing Success” as part of the international conference series The 5th ICAS-PGS, The 6th ICBAP, and The 1st IFTAC. The event took place at Building M, FIA UI Campus, Depok.

The pre-conference featured a series of sessions led by experts in their respective fields. The event opened with a workshop titled “Optimizing Bibliometric Study Using AI,” delivered by Rijal Ramdhani, S.Sos., Production Editor of the Journal of Business and Bureaucracy (JBB). This session focused on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance accuracy in bibliometric studies.

The program then continued with a workshop titled “Quantitative Data Analysis Using Smart PLS” by Dr. M. Ramaditya, B.B.A., M.Sc., Managing Editor of the Journal of Business and Bureaucracy (JBB), which provided practical training on the comprehensive use of Smart PLS for quantitative data analysis.

The event concluded with a presentation entitled “How to Get Published in a Reputable Journal: An Insider Perspective.” In this session, Prof. William Yeoh from the Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration, Hong Kong Metropolitan University, shared insights and exclusive strategies for successfully publishing research in high-quality international journals.

Overall, the pre-conference aimed to enhance research quality and strengthen participants’ publication prospects amid increasingly intense academic competition.
