Depok, July 30, 2025 – The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI) has organized a series of activities to prepare its 2026 Annual Work Plan (RKT) and Work Plan and Budget (RKA). The initiative aims to ensure effective and transparent program and budget planning aligned with the university’s strategic priorities. The process is carried out in five stages: the Socialization of FIA UI’s 2026 RKT and RKA, Unit Presentations in Stage 1, Unit Presentations in Stage 2, input of the 2026 RKT and RKA into the integrated system, and a final review of the documents.
The socialization session, held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, brought together FIA UI’s structural leaders and representatives from each unit. During the event, Dr. Umanto, M.Si., Head of the Dean’s Office, presented the 2026 performance indicators cascaded from Universitas Indonesia to FIA UI.
“In 2026, there are 78 performance indicators cascaded for FIA UI. Of these, 68 are existing or combined indicators from previous years, and 10 are newly introduced,” said Dr. Umanto when opening the socialization session.
Beyond examining the performance indicators for 2026, the session also outlined the RKT and RKA focus areas set by UI’s various divisions and structural bodies. In 2026, these focus areas will include expanding international class offerings and digital (cyber) education programs; integrating education staff resources, implementing merit-based welfare, improving university rankings in line with the UI Goes to 150 Roadmap, and managing UI’s 2025 endowment fund; strengthening international research collaborations, translating research outputs into high-impact innovations, conducting community service projects using the Social Return on Investment (SROI) framework, and increasing research funding from external sources; developing an integrated information system in line with UI’s IT Roadmap; and enhancing infrastructure and facilities to meet Internal Quality Assurance Standards (SPMI). Other focus areas cover non-academic initiatives such as optimizing facility rentals and integrated area utilization for revenue generation, boosting graduate employability through industry collaboration, strengthening UI’s international branding, improving governance of the UI Transformation Roadmap, following up on audit findings, and accelerating legal and regulatory services.
The process continued with Stage 1 Unit Presentations on Monday, August 4, 2025, where units under Division 2 and non-division units (Dean’s Office, UPMA, Legal, and Internal Audit) presented their proposed priority programs, estimated budgets, and alignment with faculty and university performance targets. Stage 2, held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, followed the same format for units under Division 1.
On Wednesday and Thursday, August 6–7, 2025, each unit uploaded their approved 2026 budgets and activities into UI’s integrated system, followed by a review session on Friday, August 8, 2025. The finance unit provided guidance throughout these stages to ensure that the plans and budgets were consistent with 2026 performance targets.
By implementing the RKT and RKA preparation in these five stages, FIA UI ensures a systematic and participatory planning process. This step-by-step method allows for comprehensive evaluation, ensuring that the work plan and budget are well-positioned to support the achievement of the faculty and university’s vision and mission for 2026.
