Depok, 21 November 2025 — The Department of Fiscal Administration, Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI), organized a guest lecture titled “Mechanisms for Reporting Individual Income Tax (PPh OP) through the Coretax System” as part of its efforts to strengthen students’ tax literacy. The event was held at the EDISI 2020 Auditorium, 4th Floor of Building M, FIA UI.

The guest lecture featured Angga Sukma Dhaniswara, S.AB., M.M., CPS., CDM., CSEO., CSOM., CTA., a Junior Expert Functional Tax Counselor from the Head Office of the Directorate General of Taxes, as the guest speaker. The session was moderated by Dr. Neni Susilawati, S.Sos., M.A., CertDA, CSRS, a permanent lecturer at FIA UI.

In his presentation, Angga Sukma Dhaniswara explained various aspects of the mechanism for filing Annual Individual Income Tax Returns through the Coretax System, ranging from understanding tax status and income categories to the technical steps of filing. He also emphasized the importance of data accuracy for taxpayers, the pre-populated withholding tax evidence process, and risk mitigation for issues commonly encountered during tax reporting.

Participants—including students, lecturers, and UI special work units—gained comprehensive insights into the new dynamics of tax reporting, including system features, regulatory updates, taxpayers’ rights and obligations, as well as common mistakes to avoid when completing tax returns.

Through this guest lecture, FIA UI reaffirmed its commitment to delivering relevant and practical learning that aligns with developments in the national tax administration system, enabling students to better understand tax administrative mechanisms and be well prepared for future professional practice.
