Around 500 participants enlivened the event, which began with a 5K run, followed by a group morning exercise, speeches, door prize giveaways, and various entertainment activities. The enthusiasm of the participants—from the general public, the FIA UI academic community, faculty leaders and lecturers, to members of IKPI Depok—was palpable.

Prof. Dr. Dra. Retno Kusumastuti Hardjono, M.Si., Dean of FIA UI, expressed full support and appreciation to all parties involved in organizing the FunTaxtic Run.

“On behalf of the faculty leadership and the big family of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, I would like to thank you for joining and celebrating this event along with FIA UI’s 10th anniversary,” she stated.

Also present was Universitas Indonesia’s Vice Rector for Research and Innovation, Prof. Dr. Hamdi Muluk, M.Si., who joined in celebrating the FunTaxtic Run 2025.

“Make this an annual agenda—this is extraordinary. Hopefully, we can make this part of our lifestyle. In addition to UI’s tagline ‘Excellent and Impactful,’ we are also a healthy UI, a UI that impacts society. Most importantly, UI helps make its community healthy,” Prof. Hamdi said.

Deputy Mayor of Depok, Chandra Rahmansyah, who also attended the event, remarked that the FunTaxtic Run was a smart and inclusive activity. He hoped events like this could become a regular agenda fully supported by the city government.

FunTaxtic Run 2025 is expected to be the starting point of sustainable collaboration that will strengthen the ties between academia, practitioners, and the community. Through innovative activities like this, FIA UI remains committed to delivering programs that have a positive impact on society, the university, and Indonesia.
